A Different Kind of Summer Learning Experience
Created by classroom teachers Julia Ewart and Rachel Lugo, Futurise Summer Learning Lab was designed for curious, creative, and differently-wired learners who are ready to explore one important question:
What skills will humans need most in a world shaped by AI?
Throughout the week, students will engage in hands-on projects, collaboration, discussion, and reflection while building the skills that matter most in a rapidly changing world.
This is not a traditional academic camp.
Students will work together to solve real-world challenges, use AI as a thinking tool, and learn more about how they focus, problem-solve, collaborate, and grow.
What Students Will Build
Students will develop:
Executive functioning skills
Critical thinking
Collaboration and communication
Problem-solving strategies
Self-awareness and independence
Confidence as learners
By the end of the week, students won’t just leave with a final project — they’ll leave with a deeper understanding of themselves as learners.
What the Week Includes
Future Skills Workshops
Interactive mini-lessons exploring AI, critical thinking, collaboration, adaptability, and communication.
Project Studio
Students will work in teams to tackle meaningful, real-world challenges.
Learn Yourself Lab
Daily reflection and coaching focused on executive functioning, metacognition, and learning strategies.
Friday Family Showcase
Families are invited to see what students created and what they discovered about themselves as learners.
Personalized Learner Profile
Each student will receive a summary of observed strengths, learning strategies, and growth insights from the week.

Enrollment is intentionally limited to 12 students to create a highly personalized experience.
